Above All

We are the citizen of the earth today, we must watch the news to know what is happening around the world. But i must say that the news always depresses me and also makes me sad. I hardly seen any positive news but rather more negative and with that i sometimes avoid watching the news (yes i know its real fact) and watched E!news instead. But the realised its filled with lots of Hollywood divorces/splitting & etc..isn't that are negative news too. Thus i turned to Star World, with lots of happy, fun & laugther and some motivating program. American Idol is not one of my favourites bt better that all the negatives news.

So anywhere, when i watches the news that is filled with natural disaster, political turmoil, business going down, price wars, unstable ecomony, undeserving leaders and more..i came to wonder, why is it all so negative? Why? I may not be the most holiest person on earth..but i think i may know why. There is NO Love in their heart.

No love for "their" people, no love for the environment, no love for one another, no love for their neighbour and most importantly no love for GOD. When there is not love, all thing will come tumbling down.

Some says money make the world go round. I think this is not a good quote but a good one will be ' Love makes the world go round'. When there is love, everything is possible. Take a moment to ponder on this and i hope u agree with me.

Leaving you with a song from Hillsong's - 'Above All'. A song that really touches my heart in time of bad times and seeing all depressing news.

Above all powers, above all kings
Above all nature and all created things
Above all wisdom and all the ways of man
You were here before the world began

Above all kingdoms, above all thrones
Above all wonders the world has ever known
Above all wealth and treasures of the earth
There's no way to measure what you're worth

Crucified
Laid behind a stone
You lived to die
Rejected and alone
Like a rose
Trampled on the ground
You took the fall
And thought of me
Above all

I wish one day God's Love combination with all of our love will conquer all.

Christmas Wish List

Ah! Its Christmas time again! Wow! Times really flies by so fast! Gosh! i miss the Christmas feeling. I do not know why, all of a sudden i lost the excitement of it (shaking myself). Was is due to the fact that the Lee clan have to bid a long goodbye to our 15 years old Christmas tree last year? Hmm..i wonder..oh well but i wish, we could have a pleasant Christmas breakfast at my parent home to celebrate together with hubby & brother. (Sis will be in England).

So OK! even though that the spirit of Christmas hast't filled my souls up yet and the Christmas decoration is still sitting in the box shouting out my name, here are some of my wish list i hope that Santa would deliver to me; (just for the fun of it)..

1. Ipod shuffle (so i can listen to those heart pumping music playing in my ears while jogging)
2. Mini stereo..Sony perhaps (to play all the lovely CD given my various bands)
3. A year subscription of Personal Money magazine. (Me & hubby are very money aware these days)
4. Laptop (my old one is pealing! no joke)
5. Canon Close Up Lens 58MM .. ooo shot! i thought i wanted to switch to Nikon!
6. Nikon DSLR (i don't know what model yet)
7. Sony compact camera (easy to put into my handbag when i'm lazy to carry the DSLR around)
8. a new pair of Levi jeans.
9. Air purifier
10. Lots of LOVE, HAPPINESS, PEACE & JOY within myself, me & hubby, our families, relatives & friends and for the whole nation.

The Choice

Dear Nicholas Spark,

I remembered during a cold winter back in 2004 when i 1st knew about you. You made me cried during the last sequel of "The Notebook". Its was in the Strand Cinema if i was not mistaken that your movie premiered for the 1st time to county folks.

With that it has led me to add you name to my collection on my bookshelf. My 1st was the "The Notebook" (obviously) and that too made me cried even harder. Well as usual, the book is always better than the movie but then again i don't think movie producers will be happy to include all bits n bits of a storyline & bore all movie goers. You indeed has a way of speaking from a soul. Your story line felt so real and touches the heart of the reader.

From that onwards you have become my favorite. I followed your new releases every time it appear on the bookstore window. Dear John, 3 Weeks With my Brother, The Last Song until i came to The Choice, which has turned my life around.

I might sound like a crazy woman here turning fiction into a reality, but to tell you the truth i did. Felt as if God made your book came to me during the right time like sign in telling me what to do. I remembered of endless night & prayer in searching for the right decision and you do not know how long i cried when i finish reading you book. Then with an instant, i knew my choice.

I thank God for it till today and will treasure The Choice very very much.

Thank you so much and Thank you God treamendously very very much.

Love Always, Yours Truly

84 days or less for planning ?

I cannot believe the last time i've posted a blog on my site was the beginning of the year and its now mid year already. Wow! time really flies by so fast. I got to admit that im a real time sucker for blogging.

To be honest, i really admire friends or families that has the patient to blog with beautiful words composition and all those function on their blog in which gosh! i don't even know how to do that.

Well instead of blah-ing about my lack of blogging, let me go through life for the past 6 months since the last blog.

Gosh! i don't even know where to start! Lets start with the major one 1st shall we. Well, as some of your know already, yes .. yours truly will be walking down the aisle this year in 84 days time. Indeed its very near and are there some more 'itsy bitsy' stuff need to be decided & confirmed. Gosh! i really hope i make up my mind fast!

Within those past months, ya well..most time was taken up as the big day preparation. Discussion here and there, decision, confirmation, rejection on services(oppss...sorry), inquiry, quotation flying around, some meltdown to add (pls don't ask me about it) and more. Mind you, for the both of us being in an event organiser by profession is a blessing indeed, but sometimes well...will tell u once the big day is over.

Apart from the wedding planning, we were also involved lots in our work. To name a few, The Sabah Supermodel/Manhunk Search, The 4th KK Jazz Festival (Phew! after 1 years of planning!), few events done in house and also not forgetting our future 'Nest'.

To be continue...

Two Words

Two Words

In a while, in a word,
Every moment now returns.
For a while, seen or heard,
How each memory softly burns.
Facing you who brings me new tomorrows,
I thank God for yesterdays,
How they led me to this very hour,
How they led me to this place...

Every touch, every smile,
You have given me in care.
Keep in heart, always I'll,
Now be treasuring everywhere.
And if life should come to just one question,
Do I hold this moment true?
No trace of sadness,
Always with gladness...
'I DO...'

(instrumental)

Now a song that speaks of now and ever,
Beckons me to someone new,
Unexpected, unexplored, unseen,
Filled with promise coming through.
In a while, in a word,
You and I forever change,
Love so clear, never blurred,
Has me feeling wondrous, strange,
And if life should come to just one question,
Do I face each moment true?
No trace of sadness, always with gladness,
'I DO...'

Never with sadness...
Always with gladness...
'I...DO....'

The most magical song bird i've ever know - Lea Salonga. She sang this to her husband as her vows during her wedding and he cried. So touching indeed.

How you live your life makes a difference to our environment

With the Flea-Tastic Bazzar organised by JCI Intan in the coming week (24th Oct 09) i stumble across on an page on WWF about what we can do to help our environment. Im a strong believer of protection our environment and our future generation should be nurtured since birth. Do read & practice the below so we can save mother nature.

Please practise these simple steps every day and help to leave our children a living planet.

In Your Home

* Turn off equipment like televisions, computers and stereos when you're not using
them. That little red standby light means they're still using power - and that
means a contribution to global warming.

* Save water: turn off the tap when brushing your teeth.

* Recycle your paper, glass, plastics and other waste.

* Send e-greetings instead of paper cards. Check out the range of free WWF
e-cards available.

* Help reduce the world's rubbish dumps - don't use "throw-away" products like paper
plates and napkins, and plastic knives, forks, and cups. Avoid using Styrofoam
cups, plates and boxes – take away your food by bringing your own plastic
container to food stalls and restaurants.

Out & About

* Take your own bags to the shops to carry home your groceries and shopping.

* Look for products with less packaging.

* Buy the most energy-efficient household appliances you can afford.

* Use recycled paper.

* Choose wisely and help stop illegal wildlife trade!

* Do not buy products made from endangered species, such as "tortoiseshell
jewellery" (Hawksbill turtle shell) or ivory.

* Do not eat dishes that include parts of endangered species, such
as sharks fin soup or turtle eggs.

* Do not buy medicines which claim to contain parts of endangered species, such as
pangolin scales, tiger bone or bear bile.

Take your own bags to the shops to carry home your groceries and shopping.

In the Garden

* Collect rainwater to water your flowers.

* Plant local species of trees.

* Never take plants or pick flowers from anywhere in the wild.

My first time in Polyvore. A brilliant site i must say. My eyes browsed through as if i was in the shopping mall browshing from shop to shop on all the fashions offering.

This is what my current like. Luxury Sailing style. iLike

The day we say "Yes"

We never anticipated that the day will come. It was perfect. Firstly for my whole families & relatives excitement to their endless assistant as early as 6am at my home (before i even woke up), My mum excitement in preparing till midnight, she cooking his soup, her craziness in buying the whole bunch of gerberas from the sundry shop. Dad with his approval & sponsoring of the delicious nothing-can-replace-the-best-food-in-the-world the award winning sasau & sau nyuk! Bro in extending his stay. Sis with the unique cake. Friends with their present & endless wishes & hugs from the net, sms & personal wishes. Friend & families were on time. Everyone look vibrant and jolly!

Its was perfect! The weather was perfect that i thank God sooo much! Food were bountiful, delicious & nothing left. Drinks were cooling. Camera clicking. The flowers were gorgeous, cake yummy.

He look handsome, i too (i hope the same & the rings were (and still is) super shinny.

The ceremony didn't take long.

We are now Engaged!!

5 More Days To Go & Ticking

Yes, 5 more days and i can't believe it. Kinda surreal for me in fact with nervousness, excitement, happiness and worries. Above all i can't wait! But there are still minor stuff to be done and i have to start rather than taking my break time for granted. List below are the things needed to be done, still;

1. BEG! my cousin's makeup & hair artist to come to my house at 9am instead of 7am!!
2. Basket to be done by his family.
3. Ingredients to be bought & prepared by his family.
4. Should i inform my guests on the theme? is it necessary?
5. Fill up the 3 forms. Someone with a nice handwriting pls help!
6. Manicure on Sunday.
7. Buying of fresh groceries on Sunday.
8. Get the gerbera and other flowers on Sunday & deliver some to the baker.
9. Mask 2 times before D-day.
10. CLEAN THE HOUSE! C.L.E.A.N! SPRING C.L.E.A.N to be exact. Yes! Top to bottom

Hmm..seems like just a simple task. Well the major one has been taken care off. Thanks to the beauty of being in the event industry. Some pre-worry before but now has been settled. (not my pictures of course)

Matching outfit ? unmatching ? what about just a contrast? following a theme?

matching or individual?

alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381741754899051522" />

unique or traditional cake ? flavor? fondant? cream? theme?

Well guess better to be working on it than just listing it down.
